Services
There are many different factors that go into producing an estimate for surveying services.   Gastaldi Land Surveying offers to its clients either estimates based on an hourly fee schedule or lump sum fees for their project.   We would be happy to give you a estimate of costs for your surveying needs.   We will need your name and contract information as well as the legal description, street address, or assessor's parcel number, which are essential tools for us to get more information regarding your property.  If you don't know what type of survey you need, please see our list of services below for help.

Descriptions:

As Built Survey: a survey conducted during a construction project to verify for the Municipality of Anchorage that the work authorized was completed to the specifications set on the Plot Plan. This usually entails a complete survey of the site to confirm that the structures, utilities, and roadways proposed were built in the proper locations authorized in the Plot Plan. As-builts are sometimes done 2-3 times during the building of a house; once after the foundation has been poured; once after the walls are put up; and at the completion of construction.

Recertification of As Built Survey: is the renewal of a As Built Survey that has been done previously. We only recertify our own As Built Surveys.

Plot Plan: a proposed plan for a construction site that includes all existing and proposed conditions on a given site. It also includes the drafting of proposed building. A plot plan is required for building permit acquisition by Municipality of Anchorage.

A.L.T.A. Survey or Extended Title Insurance Coverage Survey: a survey made for the purpose of supplying a title company and lender with survey and location data necessary for issuing American Land Title Association or Extended Coverage Title Insurance.

Boundary Survey/Lot Survey: a survey for the express purpose of locating the corners and boundary lines of a given parcel of land. This involves record and field research, measurements, and computations to establish boundary lines in conformance with Alaska State Law. Easement lines may also be located with this type of survey.

Topographic Survey and Mapping: a survey locating topographic features--natural and man made--such as buildings, improvements, fences, elevations, trees, streams, contours of the land, etc. This type of survey may be required by a governmental agency, or may be used by engineers and/or architects for design of improvements or developments on a site.

Construction Survey: construction staking of improvements shown on improvement plans for control of construction on developments for roads, building, pipelines, etc.

Site Planning Survey: a combination of boundary and topographic surveys for preparation of a site plan to be used for designing improvements or developments.

Subdivision Survey: the subdivision of a tract of land into smaller parcels, showing monumentation and survey data on a map, in conformance with local ordinances and Alaska State Law.

Control Survey: precise location of horizontal and vertical positions of points for use in boundary determination, mapping from aerial photographs, construction staking, and other related purposes.
